We rented a car last month for my family reunion. The sales person never walked came out to walk around the car to do a full inspection. Once we got to our destination my husband noticed the key was slightly bent. When we returned the car, he informed him of the key. They charged us $200 for the key, because we didn't tell them during the inspection. There was no inspection. #lazyworker # poorservice #upsetcustomer
I would give a zero if I could. The people are super nice behind the counter but the company itself is awful. Charged me twice for a car I rented for one day and doubled the charge each time. Came and picked the car up 5 hours prematurely and charged me a recovery fee as well. Use anyone else if possible
Car was ok but the advertising of rates a little misleading. CS acted responsive at first but ended up sending a cut and paste answer with no resolution.
We all know that car rental places can be a real trial, but every time I have used the Dollar Car Rental at Harlingen Airport over the last 18 years, they have been fast, accurate, pleasant and professional, and the cars have all been very nice. I highly recommend this particular Dollar location!
Made online reservation for a mid-size car, but none was available at the counter. Still got charged for mid-size. Was given a tiny sardine can sized compact. Did save me on gas though!
