I became overwhelmed and start having a Panic Attack. Just about then, The Dr came out and said that he "WAS THE DOCTOR & HE WOULD NOT SEE ME". THIS IN FRONT OF OTHER PATIENTS AND HIS ENTIRE STAFF. THAT LED ME TO BELIEVE HE WAS LACKING IN EMPATHY, UNETHICAL PRACTICES, KINDNESS, AND IN MY BELIEF... UNCHRISTLIKE.
My driver's license has my Legal Name, Picture, Texas Drivers Number, Height, Weight, Date if Birth, Color of Eyes, etc. I was informed the Dr would not see me because it was not valid. I don't drive due to my Neurologist strongly advising me not to drive.(seizures)...so it had expired, it is VALID.
...THE DR CALLED 911 WITHOUT MY CONSENT. THE ONLY REASON I WENT IN AMBULANCE WAS BECAUSE MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS UP, I FELT A PANIC ATTACK ARISING AND I WOULD HAVE HAD TO STAY THERE FOR 2 HOURS TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO PICK ME UP....
...INCLUDING MEDIATION, GUIDANCE COUNSELING, AND THERAPY...ALSO, WORKED IN THE COMMUNITY WITH STUDENTS, PARENTS, POLICE OFFICERS, ETC. ALSO, OTHER MORE SERIOUS ISSUES LIKE GANGS, DRUGS, VIOLENCE, AND OTHER SERIOUS SCHOOL PROBLEMS. I WORKED CLOSELY WITH PARENTS, TEACHERS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS...
The office staff is friendly, but will not go out of their way to help like other medical office workers. Make sure you are not lacking ANY documents. They did not inform me over the phone of a minor detail....Mine was my Drivers License. When I arrived and was filling paperwork.... I was told mine was not Valid??
Dr. Vega is my doctor. He is honestly one of the best you can get. Very understanding and will adjust his schedule or anything to meet your needs if it's necessary. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a quality doctor who truly cares about his patients' well-being.
I practically begged them for him to see me. I informed them that if he saw me I would go immediately and get a regular ID and return with it right after lunch and he could give me prescriptions then.
Dr. Vega is my psychiatrist and him and his whole staff have helped my mental health for the better. He is a very intelligent doctor whose decisions I trust more than my own. His staff is the sweetest staff I have ever met at a doctor's office, and all of them genuinely care about their patients' well being. I love walking in to the office and being taken care of by everyone here. I STRONGLY recommend Dr. Vega and his staff to help any mental health needs.

AFTER HE RUDELY INFORMED ME OF HIS DECISION WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING WHO I WAS, AND REALIZED THIS MAN WAS NOT GOING TO MEET MY NEEDS, I RESPONDED IN A RESPECTFUL MANNER, "I GUESS I DON'T WANT YOU AS MY PSYCHIATRIST"...HE MADE ANOTHER HASTY RESPONSE, "WELL I GUESS THE DECISION IS MUTUAL" AND WALKED WAY...I THOUGHT, NO, DR. VEGA IT WASN'T MUTUAL...I WANTED AND NEEDED TO SEE YOU. I RESPONDED IN THAT PARTICULAR WAY BECAUSE YOU LEFT ME NO CHOICE.
.....READERS BE AWARE THAT AFTER LOOKING AT THE PAPERWORK I NOTICED YOU HAVE TO SIGN A FORM ENTITLED "CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AGREEMENT"....TO MY DISBELIEF HE DOES NOT PRESCRIBE XANAX, KLONOPIN, VALIUM, ATIVAN, ADDERRALL, CONCERTA, VYVANSE, FOCALIN, RITALIN, AMBIEN AND LUNESTA. ....
ONE QUICK QUESTION IS THERE A REASON WHY YOU CAN'T PRESCRIBE THESE MEDICATION TO TREAT ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, ADD, ADHD, SLEEP DISORDERS, AND OTHER MENTAL DISORDERS. I KNEW A DR THAT ROUTINELY AS IT IS STATED THAT WOULDN'T PRESCRIBE THESE MEDICATIONS DUE TO STATE AND FEDERAL ISSUES??
Had transcranial magnetic stimulatuon (TMS) with Dr Vega with great results. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable.
....THIS CONCERNS ME THAT A DR CAN TREAT SOMEONE SO RUDELY WITHOUT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT A POTENTIAL PATIENT. I WORKED WITH HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE DAILY AND I WOULD NEVER, EVER TREAT OTHERS IN THAT MATTER. AGAIN, IT'S UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, RUDE, AND ALSO, DISRESPECTFUL TO A PATIENT, AS WELL AS A WOMAN.
....THERE IN THE HOSPITAL I HEARD MORE THAN I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS DR. I DIDN'T GET HOME UNTIL 5:45 PM. AND HAD LEFT MY HOME AT 8:30 AM FOR A ROUTINE DR APPOINTMENT. YOU CAN IMAGINE THE WAIT AT ER, BUT EASILY HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH A GREAT PSYCHIATRIST NEXT WEEK THAT DOESN'T UPSET PATIENTS WITH WHAT HE CALLS AN INVALID ID.
