My situation was far from negative. I met Tracy Roberts who was an outstanding professional. I explained my needs and preferences with regards to the bike and manufacturer and we discussed several options along with a different manufacturer possibility. The points discussed were very factual and practical along with sound expertise. There were no "high pressure" sales tactics and as a matter of fact though I may differ in opinion he was fully supportive of my wants and is more than willing to accommodate them.
Prompt efficient customer service for my tube and tire replacement.
Wow! After 40 years in the bicycle business there is one lesson learned: You can never please everybody! So just do your best and carry on. Thanking all the satisfied folks we did help!
I typically do not write reviews but here is the exception. After many years I've decided to get back into biking and have done my homework on what I want to buy. When searching for a good bicycle shop I came across BW of the RGV and was reluctant because of the reviews I saw but gave it a shot anyhow as stories and situations are like layers of an onion.
With that said this prompted me to go back home and do some more research. Either way in the end I will be purchasing a new bike from Tracy shortly and look forward to riding again.

I got a great deal on my daughter's very first bike. Since I bought it a month in advance, they offered to hold it there until it is time for her birthday party. I was greeted the moment I walked in, they gave advice to what size of bicycle she needs, and I am very happy with my purchase. Don't go to department stores for your kid's new bicycle. Spend a couple dollars more for a real, authentic bicycle.
Feb. 1st. 2116 I had my bottem bracket replaced, on my Specialized Rubais, 2011, April 13th. I had a funny noise I thought was from the bottom bracket so I stopped at the store and had it checked out turned out the bottom bracket was a little loose, I thought that was weird because I just had it replaced 2 and a half months ago I mention this to the mechanic thinking do I need to have this checked periodically and he said you should not have to, I was trying to be nice and not just say I don't think it was right and I guess I should have, I got no where and paid the bill, still do not like the result!!
